New Member Information<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Please read the attached which includes a brief outline of your Club: New Member Information<\/a><\/p>\n

Pace of Play<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

It is expected that Members pace of play is no more than 4 hours and 20 mins.<\/p>\n

Dress Code Standards<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Rosanna Golf Club is one of Melbourne\u2019s Premier Private Clubs.<\/p>\n

The standard of dress and general appearance will, at times, govern the privileges of all members and their guests while using the facilities of the club. The dress code seeks to reflect the standards of the club and members\u2019 consideration for other members. It is aimed at maintaining the traditions of golf and club life while accepting that the club must move with the times to attract a contemporary membership.<\/p>\n

Directors, Management and staff may, from time to time, advise members and guests that their attire is inappropriate. The utmost discretion and sensitivity should be used when addressing an issue regarding dress code. However, any member who continually ignores such direction, may risk disciplinary action.<\/p>\n

The Club may vary the dress code for extenuating circumstances and\/or particular functions.<\/p>\n

The tradition to remove hats, caps and visors when entering the clubhouse is to be encouraged.<\/p>\n

Priority on the Course<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

At all times the Course Maintenance team have the right of way on the course whilst in the conduct of its duties.<\/p>\n

Players in groups of 4 have priority on the course with the exception of any match under the control of an appointed referee.<\/p>\n

Mobile Phone Use<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Mobile phones should not be audible on the course.<\/p>\n

They may be used in the clubhouse, but should be used with discretion and in consideration of others.<\/p>\n

Buggies across the Greens<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Members may use wide wheel or pneumatic tyre buggies and, generally, are encouraged to wheel buggies across the greens. Members must refrain from going near the hole or taking the shortest or most common route on any green.<\/p>\n

Wheeling buggies in the fringe areas between greens and bunkers and where areas are roped off must be avoided.<\/p>\n

Buggies are not allowed on some greens (please follow the signs) and should not be left on the green whilst putting out.<\/p>\n

Sand Buckets<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Members are required to carry sand and to fill and smooth divots.<\/p>\n

This includes all members regardless of whether they carry their clubs or use a buggy or motorised golf vehicle.<\/p>\n

Please return sand buckets to designated boxes located around clubhouse.<\/p>\n

Car Parking<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Members are requested to exercise care when parking.<\/p>\n

Cars should be parked carefully within marked bays, nose to nose, observing reserved bays at all times.<\/p>\n

Additional car parking is available outside the Maintenance Facility.<\/p>\n

Cars should not be parked on Cleveland Avenue outside the gates as this impedes the view of cars exiting the Golf Club.<\/p>\n

Non-Smoking Areas<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The Clubhouse, including the main balcony, is a non-smoking area.<\/p>\n

Smoking is permitted on the course but smokers must dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.<\/p>\n

Personal Property<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The Club is not responsible for the loss of, or injury to, the property or person of any Member in or about the premises.<\/p>\n

Golf equipment should never be left unattended and valuables should be secured.<\/p>\n

The locker room and buggy storage room are not considered secure places for valuables.<\/p>\n

Your compulsory personal insurance plan, as included in your membership fees, insures your golfing equipment anywhere in Australia. Excesses apply. Further information on the personal insurance plan is available from Administration.<\/p>\n

Complaints<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Under no circumstances should a Member reprimand an employee of the Club.<\/p>\n

Complaints should be made in writing to the General Manager who, if unable to satisfactorily resolve the issue, shall submit the complaint to the Board of Directors.<\/p>\n

First Aid<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

If required, first aid equipment is located in the Golf Shop and Clubhouse. Most employees of the Club are fully trained in first aid and can be contacted by calling the Club at any time on 9431 1033. However, in the case of serious situations requiring an ambulance they should be called directly on 000 prior to notifying the Club. This will save time and enable the caller to provide the ambulance staff with the information they require to assist the patient.<\/p>\n

Transferring Membership Categories<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Members wishing to transfer to a different category of Membership must do so in writing, including supporting documentation if required eg. if transferring to Leave of Absence.<\/p>\n
