Course Care

The following points are provided to assist the upkeep of the course and ensure that you and your fellow member have an enjoyable round of golf:

BUGGIES ACROSS THE GREENS

Members may use wide wheel (slix) or pneumatic tyre buggies and are encouraged to wheel buggies across the greens. Please refrain from going near the hole or taking the shortest or most common route on any particular green. Wheeling buggies in the fringe areas between greens and bunkers and where areas are roped off must be avoided. Buggies should not be left on the green whilst putting out.

DIVOTS

1. Remove any loose turf from the affected area.
2-3. Knock in all sides of the edge of the divot with your club or your shoe.
4. Correctly mended divot.

BALL MARKS

1. Always start at the back of the mark and push forward with the repairer.
2. Use repairer around all sides and slowly ease turf toward the centre of the mark. Do not lift the soil upwards.
3. Lightly tap down with putter.
4. Your completed repair should look like this.

HANDLING THE FLAG

1. Don’t drop the flagstick on the putting surface as it will cause damage.
2. Always lower the flagstick by club or by hand.
3. Avoid damage to surrounds by placing the stick in the centre of the cup.

REMOVING BALL

Players are requested NOT to use their putter to remove their golf ball from the hole.

BUNKERS

Always rake the bunker after use, leaving it in the condition that you would like to find it. After smoothly raking all footprints and divots place the rake in the centre of the bunker running parallel with the direction of the hole.
