Members who are unable to walk the course because of physical disability or illness may apply to the Board of Directors for permission to use a motorised golf vehicle owned by the Member.

Applications should be made in writing and supported by a medical practitioner. The Club may nominate an independent medical practitioner, if so required, to substantiate the existence of the Member’s disability or illness.

The Board will determine the number, and type of motorised golf vehicles permitted on the course.

The vehicle:

  • Must be specifically designed to be used as a motorised golf vehicle
  • Must have 4 wheels
  • Cannot be a motor  cycle, 3 wheel motorised golf vehicle or a 2 person golf cart

The rules for the use of motorised golf vehicles are:

  • No motorised golf vehicle may be used on the course unless the Board of Directors has given prior approval.
  • Motorised golf vehicles must not be driven onto tees or greens or between greens or bunkers.
  • No motorised golf vehicle shall be driven within 10 metres of a green or left standing at the front of greens.
  • A motorised golf vehicle should not be driven ahead of play when a ball is still to be played.
  • Owners are to be the only drivers and must control the vehicle at all times.
  • No motorised golf vehicle owned by a member may be stored or garaged at the Club without prior approval of the Board of Directors.
  • Use of a motorised golf vehicle may at times be denied if course conditions and or other circumstances warrant such action.
  • The Club has 16 carts available for hire. Members or guests may pre-book the cart if required for medical reasons otherwise, if available on the day of play, these carts may be hired by any other golfer. Restricitons apply for Board events.

Range balls are available for members free of charge from the Golf Shop 7 days per week.
